How to request deletion

- Complete verificationWe may ask for limited additional information to confirm that the request belongs to you.
- Receive confirmationWe will tell you when deletion is complete or explain any data that must legally be retained.
Never send your password, PIN, full card number, card security code or identity document by email.
What deletion covers
Once your request has been verified, Payonik will close the account and delete or de-identify account data that is not required for a lawful retention purpose. This may include profile information, app preferences, active sessions and other data directly associated with the account. We will also direct relevant service providers to delete associated data where required and permitted.
Data that may be retained
Financial, identity-verification, transaction, fraud-prevention, security or dispute records may need to be retained for periods required by applicable financial, tax, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, record-keeping or legal-claims obligations. Retained data is restricted to those purposes and removed or de-identified when the applicable period ends.
Before you delete
- Resolve any pending transaction, chargeback, investigation or account restriction.
- Save any records you may need, subject to the export options available in the app.
- Understand that deletion is permanent and you may lose access to transaction history.
